The short version: we only ask for the details we need to help you. We use them to reply to you, send your assessment results and run our work together. We don't sell your information. You can ask us to show it to you, fix it or delete it at any time.
Who we are
This website belongs to Ascentis Strategy, a small consultancy based in Airdrie, Alberta. It is run by Jeff Conrad, the founder, and operated by 2796932 Alberta Ltd., an Alberta corporation. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Ascentis Strategy.

What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us:
- The free assessment. Your name, your email, your assessment score and the areas it flagged as priorities.
- The contact form. Your name, your email and whatever you write in your message.
- Booking a call. The details you enter when you book, such as your name, email and any notes. Bookings are handled by Calendly.
- Emailing us directly. Your email address and anything you include in your message.
Like most websites, the services that host and deliver this site may also record basic technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open. We don't use this to identify you.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your message or question.
- To send your assessment results and follow up about them.
- To book, prepare for and run a call or project with you.
- To keep our records and meet legal or tax requirements.
We ask for your consent when you submit a form or book a call. By doing so, you agree that we can use your details for the reasons above. We will not add you to a mailing list without asking you first.
Who else handles your information
We use a few trusted services to run this website and our business. They handle your information on our behalf, and only to provide their service:
- Netlify hosts this website and stores the form submissions you send us.
- Calendly runs the call booking.
- Our email provider delivers the messages we send and receive.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts you see on this site. Google may receive your IP address when your browser asks for them.
Some of these services store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. That means your information may be subject to the laws of those places while it is there. We do not sell your information or rent it to anyone.
Cookies and tracking
We don't run advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we don't use an analytics service at this time. The booking widget from Calendly may set its own cookies when it loads. If we add analytics later, we will update this page first.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to reply to you, work with you, or meet legal and tax requirements. After that, we delete it or remove anything that could identify you.
How we protect it
We use reputable services with their own security measures, and we limit who can see form submissions to the founder. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive details such as banking information or health records through our forms.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us at any time to:
- ask what information we hold about you,
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong,
- ask us to delete your information, or
- take back your consent, for example by asking us to stop contacting you.
We aim to handle personal information in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act. If you feel we have not handled your information properly, please tell us first so we can fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Children
This website is for business owners and their teams. It is not meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
